TEACHER TRAINING CLASSES

Saturdays – 11:30 am – 1:00 pm for 10 weeks

We will cover basic steps in the core dances, teaching techniques, how to handle situations that may arise, and we will “practice teaching” on each other….and we’ll have loads of fun and bond with your new fellow teachers, as well as some of the current teachers….

THERE IS An INITIAL FEE of $200

If you decide not to stay after the training class is over …. Nothing’s lost…

You will have still learned to dance for a very low cost to you!

(During this training period you may also attend additional classes during the week at half price as long as we deem them necessary for your training.

APPRENTICESHIP PERIOD

If we both decide that your training was successful and you are going to stay with us, we’ll put you into classes with other teachers… you will get practical hands on experience as you help them out and even teach a few steps on your own, under their guidance.

You will not teach a class on your own until YOU’RE ready.   In some cases people go back and take the training all over…that’s okay, it will only cost you half and we’ll let you take it as often as you need to.    But we’ll talk about that when the time comes.

AFTER YOUR APPRENTICESHIP

Once you feel ready, we’ll start you off with a class of your own and/or we’ll give you some real raw beginners to teach…. Great practice!!!!

We will help you get your lessons ready, pick music, review steps with you… you’re not on your own yet!  

And You’ll GET PAID…. Low wages during this trial period and then regular wages…..

WOW… YOU’RE NOW A DANCE INSTRUCTOR…. But remember, there’s always more to learn…

Training from this point on is free and I expect you to take every class you can and keep growing….

During teacher training sessions you’ll be expected to come back (for free) and review areas you’re weak in and help us train the newbees!  So your training in ongoing….
