FEATURED CLASS OF THE WEEK
***************************************************************
BELLY DANCE for Fun and Fitness….
I started this class almost two years ago and have since added it to my classes at County College of Morris… I can’t tell you how much fun this class is or how beneficial it is to the body…. And it’s so feminine…
We stretch first to soft belly dance music to get us in the mood, then we start working on stretching parts of the body starting from the shoulders and working down through the hips, then we take some of those steps and put them into patterns and the patterns form a routine…. The routine du jour!
So every week it’s a different set of steps with a different routine so we’re always learning new stuff and getting lots of great exercise. We do cover technique but mostly just enough to get us through the steps so that we can use them right away without hurting ourselves.
No need to buy any coin belts just yet, come see if you like the class first, but do wear something on your feet that you can move around in like little ballet slippers or isotoners… or socks. NO shoes or sneakers for this type of exercise.
I promise you will feel and SEE the difference in your body in a few weeks.
So in March we’re starting with the basic steps again and working our way through all the isolations and undulations and figure 8’s and more!!!!!!
Register for the month $45; or drop in $12…. But do come and try it out….

COUNTRY NIGHT AT KABOB’S – Saturday, March 27
We had such a good turnout the other night and we had so much fun, that we put another night on the calendar early in the evening so I can announce it to all that were there.
Remember the Country Western Night we almost had a few months ago????? Well, we’re going to do it on the 27th instead, because people are coming back out….. and they want to dance again…. And everyone has fun dancing to country western music.
I will do what I always do…. Give you mini lessons throughout the evening in some partner dances, like Texas Two Step and Country Waltz… I’ll show you some fantastic, fun couples dances, like the Charleston Bump and Traveling Cha Cha, we’ll do some great new things, and of course, line dances in between everything else… You will be dancing most of the night if you choose to.
Seating is limited, though because we will need room for this one.
$19.95 per person includes dinner, lessons, dancing. Dinner starts at 6:30, lessons start promptly at 7:30 – 10:30 (well we stayed til almost 11:00 the other night because we were having so much fun)…..but it would help if you called ahead… 973-663-1075…
Eeeehaaawwww, hope to see you all there.

FEATURED CLASS OF THE WEEK

WALTZ – Friday Nights, starts April 9… (dancing only on the 1 as it’s Good Friday).
One of the most elegant of dances as it floats around the floor and if you’ve seen it on T.V. or in the movies you’ve probably dreamed on being able to dance like that…. You can, you know….
Every Waltz, whether it’s the fast-paced Viennese Waltz, Country Waltz, or Silver Waltz had to start somewhere and they all start with learning the technique that makes the Waltz so intriguing to watch.
As always, we will have two classes: Beginners – where we will cover the basic steps with technique to be sure you’re dancing correctly. If you don’t learn your rise and fall correctly, proper frame, and proper posture, waltz could be very uncomfortable to dance…so the emphasis will be on getting you to move together as a couple.
and the Advanced Beginner Class where we will only cover the technique and basic steps needed to be able to move right into some of the more intimate steps, patterns, and turns. (Prerequisite, you must be comfortable and familiar with your basic steps.)
Isn’t it time you learned the Waltz? You know you want to…
