GROUP CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS

GROUP CLASSES:    These generally run 4 weeks , could be 1 hour or longer, and are held at
different venues throughout the year.  If it's a Latin Class we could work on 2-4 different dances during the
4-week period, if it's a specific dance, then we would work on that dance for the four weeks.  A deposit is
always asked for to hold your place and sent to me, as I schedule these classes and rent the space.   These
classes tend to be fairly small, around 6 - 12 people.

SEMESTER CLASSES:    These are run through various colleges and adult schools in the area
and could run from 8 - 12 weeks, and they run along with the school semesters.   Again, if it's a Latin Dance,
we might work on several different dances during the semester, but if it's a specific dance, then we would
work on just that one, class could be 1 hour or longer.    Course descriptions are in all brochures.
Registration is paid directly to the school/college.   these classes could be from 8 to 24 people.

WORKSHOPS:    These generally run for 4 weeks, and they are always 1-1/2 hours long with a half
hour practice.    I find spending a little longer working on a dance, then spending some time where you have
to practice it, sets it in memory better.    The workshop is the fastest way to get a lot of information that's
going to stay with you and at the best price.    (See NEW Workshops coming in August on my Calendar or
Upcoming Events Page for more details!!!!    We will have a beginner as well as a more experienced
workshop to offer!)

Don't forget, you can always have your own PRIVATE GROUP CLASS or DANCE PARTY.....CLICK HERE TO

Latin Dancing - this could include any of the following Latin Dances:  cha cha, rumba, bolero,
samba, Merengue, Mambo, Salsa.
Salsa / Merengue  - due to the enormous popularity of Salsa and the fact that the merengue
is usally played intermixed with it throughout the night at most clubs, I run these two as a separate
class in addition to Latin.
Social Dancing (party/wedding dancing) - this could be anything you're likely to find at a
social event, party or wedding.   it may include:  Slow Dancing, Night Club Two Step, Freestyle, Polka, a
swing or hustle, Foxtrot, Waltz, maybe even a social Tango!
Ballroom Dancing - We spend more time on technique and foot placement and posture on
these dances, if you want more technique and styling, ask!   I give private lessons, too!
Swing and Hustle - because of popularity and high demand, I also run these two separately
from time to time, sometimes Swing alone and sometimes Hustle alone..these classes fill up fast!
General Line Dancing -  This is quickly becoming one of the most popular classes I teach,
along with Salsa and Hustle... This is could be any kind of line dancing from Waltz to Merengue to
Hustle and of course Country Western.   We use all types of popular music and we learn useful steps
and patterns and all WITHOUT A PARTNER.    Wear layers, we perspire a lot!
Specific Dances - I may run a "Just Tango" class, or a "Swing, Swing,Swing" sticking to only
one dance for the course/semeter.  See list of possibilities, by clicking on Dance Descriptions or
Country Western Dance Descriptions on the menu bar.
