My Goal.....
... is to get as many people dancing as I can as long as there's a breath left in me....that's
an ambitious goal! I live to teach....when I see someone learn a new step, or I see how
thrilled they are that they're moving around the floor....I get as excited as they do.
My Credentials...
I've danced my way through school as a child, then danced my way through college then
moved up into the big stuff....ballroom dancing and competitions....now, I'm content to
teach what it's taken me years to perfect and I love it...
I still teach at various colleges and community schools as well as teaching at other
venues, special occasions, and I'll even DJ and bring the dance party to you at a venue of
your choosing ......yes, I'm busy....but never too busy for my students....
So let me take all that knowledge and pass it along to you. I come with high
recommendations (just ask), lots of enthusiasm, lots of teaching experience and I've
been coached by and took lessons with some of New Jersey's finest teachers.
The Studio...
We bought the studio Dec. 21, 2006 and we spent a lot of time converting it from the
local bar to a dance studio... which meant removing a huge bar, building a dance floor,
adding air conditioning, special fire alarm and security systems, and removing
unwanted paraphernalia left behind.... It was a lot of fun and a lot of hard work, but
people were amazed at the transformation.
We have a beautiful floating dance floor, a great sound system, and were ready to rock
and roll, and so opened our doors on August 1, 2007, and people are finding us and
enjoying our facilities.
What We Offer...
We offer dance classes, including but not limited to, social dancing, ballroom, latin
dancing, swings/hustles, country western, wedding prep instruction, and of course, all
our exercise programs from Zumba and Pilates to BELLY DANCING!!!!! We also have
general line dancing and aerobics classes, and special classes for beginners.
Of course, we have private lessons, private groups (you pick the day, the time, the
dance, and the people), and special courses throughout the year in techniques, slow
dance and wedding preparation, and Review courses, as well as what we call Crash
Courses for Beginners.
Gift Certificates and Beginner Sampler packages are always available.
Special Parties for Holidays and anything else we can think of. We just love to dance,
and we love to eat, so we have our Pot Luck night once a month, guest teachers from
time to time, and we have our group of Dance Hosts to help out in classes, fill in for
people without partners, and help you stay on the dance floor, if that's where you want
to be.
